How I use Parasite SEO to take over the SERPs - Part 1

Ranking in the Search Engine Results Page (SERPS) need not be as hard as you think

Getting a search engine to show your website as a part of the SERPs is a challenge.

Especially if you are targeting a high-difficulty keyword (i.e., one where mainstream sites like Forbes, HuffPost, etc, have content already).

Parasite SEO can help If you have a new site, chances are it is still in Google’s sandbox, where pages from your site might not show up on page 1 of Google.

It can also help If you have an established site (1+ year old) and have competitors trying to outrank you in the SERPs.

So, how does it work?

The idea is to post content on high-authority, high-traffic sites with the keyword you want to rank for and add a link to your website where the user can continue reading.

A rough diagram to visualize the process of how parasite SEO works

Your content is like a parasite, living on the High DA site, benefitting from the authority in the SERPs, and driving traffic to you.

I have seen hundreds of sites doing this to drive boatloads of referral traffic to their site- all while beating the sh*t out of their competitors in the SERPs.

We will take a look at these sites, and look at a few strategies in the next edition!

See you in a bit!
